2007 Merlot

Merlot, the signature red grape of the North Fork of Long Island is exemplified in this bottle. The fruit explodes from the glass; black cherry, blueberry, and bing cherry. These aromas follow seamlessly onto the palate, intermingled with nuances of exotic spices, ginseng and sweet pomegranate flavors. The mid palate is plush, round and excites the senses. The ripe plush fruit are supported with nuances of oak in the background and the finish is defined by elegance and length.
